Weddell Sea – Emperor Penguin (incl. helicopters)

$
12900.00
This is one of the most unique voyages in Antarctica, offering a rare chance to see emperor penguins in their natural habitat. The trip sails deep into the Weddell Sea, where helicopter operations allow you to reach remote areas that are otherwise inaccessible.

If conditions allow, you’ll fly by helicopter to Snow Hill Island and walk about 45 minutes to the emperor penguin colony — one of the most exclusive wildlife encounters in the world.

In addition to the helicopter flights, you’ll enjoy daily Zodiac cruises and shore landings, visiting places like Brown Bluff, Deception Island, and the Antarctic Sound. Along the way, expect to see Adélie, chinstrap, and gentoo penguins, seals, whales, and stunning ice landscapes.

This is a real expedition cruise with a strong focus on wildlife, sea ice, and adventure — with the added bonus of taking to the skies.
